Carbon Studios Terms and Conditions

Please take some time to read the terms and conditions

1.      Bookings and Cancellations

A         If a band or artist wants to cancel or re-arrange a booking you must do so within 48 hours before the start of the rehearsal.

B         If this not done you will incur 50% of the full charge of the period you originally booked whether or not you use the room.

C         If a cancellation is not made within 24 hours of the booking you will incur 100% of the full charge of the booking.

D        Clients with outstanding charges will have any further booked sessions removed from the bookings diary and cannot use the studios until those charges are cleared.

E        You must leave sufficient time to pack away and vacate the room by the end of your session. E.G. if you have booked 5-8, you must vacate the room by 8 to allow the next band to start their session on time.

F        Sessions need to be settled for upon arrival, or where applicable at the end of the session, unless alternative arrangements have been directly agreed with the management. Carbon Studios doesn’t offer credit facilities of any kind except for invoice situations.

G         Provisional (penciled in) bookings need to be confirmed within 48 hours of making the provisional booking or the slot will be made available to other bands.

2.      Equipment and Rooms

A         All items (mics, mic clips, leads, drum felts, hi-hat clutches, guitar pedals) provided in the box must be returned in working condition to the desk after the rehearsal.

B         Clients who deliberately misuse or are negligent towards any of the studios equipment and fittings and fixtures, resulting in damage or destruction will be liable for replacement/repair costs.

C         Any damage or fault to equipment or fixtures and fittings of the rooms prior to or during your session, must be reported to a member of staff immediately so that it can be logged, rectified and any liability (if applicable) can be absolved.

3.      General

A         To fall in line with the present regulations the whole premises is no smoking. Any one smoking on the premises will be fined £50 and will also be liable to pay any fines, made by the authorities, brought on to Carbon Studios.

B         Any breech of the above conditions may result in you and your group being banned from the studios.

By booking and using Carbon Studios, you are agreeing to abide by these terms and conditions.
